ABOUT

MY MISSION

I am a photographer. I neglect to say amateur or professional, because I have a hard time believing that I am either. I take pictures for myself and for my clients, and I do my best to pour everything that I have into those results. The images I create represent my clients and their goals, but they also represent me as an artist and I take that very seriously. That said, I have fun and I feel that my best work is born from an environment of creativity and vision. This mantra keeps me sane and focused. I work hard and expect that the people I work with work hard as well. Collaboration breeds success and I live to find myself within a circle of creatives striving towards the same ultimate goal. A project planned well is carried out well, and the results are sure to bear the fruits of those preparations and hard work. Reveling in your success and celebrating your accomplishments has it’s place and allows for closure and reflection, but resting on your laurels will surly prevent you from securing the next job.

WHO I AM

I was born in Reading, PA, but currently live just outside Savannah, GA, in Richmond Hill. So do I drink sweet tea with my cheese steak? No, but I do hold the experiences of my youth dear to me along with the experiences and journeys I have had throughout my life wherever I may have been. I have lived in four states and take something away from all of them. I have spent time in the military, four years to be exact. I traveled the United States and the world performing with the 82D Airborne Divisions “All-American” chorus, not your typical army job. I have a college degree in something completely unrelated to photography. This seems to be a trend in our current employment climate. I am married to the girl of my dreams and just when I thought it couldn’t get any better another girl came along, my daughter. And soon a third. I remain very close to all of my family and friends and travel extensively. I love sports, watching and playing, and have a small addiction to things that go beep, but what photographer doesn’t. What does all of this mean? To some, not much, but to others, a lot. Putting on my art directors hat for a second, I always think it is nice to read a little bit about a person before approaching. Just my take.

In this digital age driven by the internet and the visual media, the first impression you may have on a potential customer or reader will most likely come in the form of a photograph. If that photo is communicating the wrong message you’ve lost. I make my living creating the right visuals to communicate the right message. Don’t leave that meeting to chance. I encourage all potential clients to research and ask questions and really seek to find the best person for your project. Not all photographers are created equal.
